Our People

CREO is a non-profit organization based in Waterloo Region in southwestern Ontario, with volunteer members from across Canada.

CREO’s Board and volunteer reviewers consist of community members, community-based researchers, academics, representatives of the not-for-profit sector, government, and others with experience on research ethics boards.

CREO’s membership includes two groups of volunteers: Board of Directors and secondary reviewers. Members of the Board of Directors act as primary reviewers and take other board governance roles. Every CREO application is, at the minimum, reviewed by the assigned primary and secondary reviewer and discussed by the board when needed.

Volunteering with CREO

We are often looking for individuals to join our ethics review board and reviewer pool. We value personal and professional expertise and welcome applications from people who have experience with systemic forms of marginalization and oppression.
